water level is around 10.6 feet below the surface. It is the miracle of Allah that when Zam Zam is pumped continuously for more than 24 hours with a pumping rate of 8,000 liters per second, water level drops to almost 44 feet below the surface. But as soon as the pumping is stopped, the level immediately elevates again to 13 feet after 11 minutes.
